Le Moyne College announces Bergdoll Named Ne10 Player Of The Week

 Le Moyne junior first baseman Mckenzie Bergdoll (Attleboro, Mass./Attleboro) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, per the NE10 Week 4 Softball Report.

Bergdoll slashed .600/.636./1.000 with five runs scored, two RBI, two doubles, one triple and a stolen base during Le Moyne's first four contests at The Spring Games in Florida.

Bergdoll went 1-2 with an RBI against Lock Haven, then provided an RBI double during Le Moyne's 3-1 setback against Molloy.

During Le Moyne's doubleheader sweep over Post and Bloomfield on Sunday, during which the Dolphins scored a combined 24 runs in 11 total innings, Bergdoll reached base in seven of her eight trips to the plate.

Mckenzie went 3-4 with three runs scored during the 12-5 win over Post, then she delivered a triple, a walk and two runs scored in the second half of the doubleheader, a 12-0 triumph over the Bloomfield Bears in five innings.

Through 26 at bats in 2023, Bergdoll is hitting .385 with a 1.006 OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging percentage) and four extra-base hits.

The Le Moyne College softball team will be back in action on Tuesday at The Spring Games. The Dolphins will take on #8 University of Indianapolis at 1:30 p.m. before battling University of Mary at 3:45.
