Lane College Announces Four Dragons named All-SIAC

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced the 2023 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Team, released Thursday. The all-conference teams are comprised of student-athletes who were selected based on their athletic performance during the regular season.
 
Khamil Evans, Mikalyn Chambers, and Diamond Richardson were named first team all-conference while Xavier Heard was placed on the second team.

Evans was tops in the 200m with a time of 24.86. Chambers found herself on the first team twice, taking the top honor in the long jump (5.57m) and the heptathlon (3,920 points).

Richardson also earned first team honors twice. She had the top mark in the shot put (13.76m) and hammer throw (50.05m) while earning second team in the discus (43.76m).

Xavier Heard earned second team honors in the shot put with a distance of 14.38m.
