After a strong stretch retiring seven in a row from Hamilton in the circle, the top of the lineup came through in the 7th as Phoebe Clemens knocked a 2-run single up the middle to give the Chargers their first lead of the game. After advancing to third on an error, Clemens came home on another hit from King to put LBC up by two runs. The Charger defense prevented any more runs from Cairn in the bottom of the inning to escape with a 6-4 game one win.
