Lancaster Bible College announces Chargers Drop Two at Penn St. Berks

The Lancaster Bible College softball team traveled to Penn St. Berks for a doubleheader versus the Lions dropping both, 6-0 and 6-3. The Chargers fall to 7-17 overall and 3-11 in the United East while the Lions improve to 15-5 overall and 10-2 in the conference.
Game One, 6-0 Loss
How It Happened: The Chargers couldn't find the scoreboard in a tough game one while the Lions scored four runs through the first four innings then two in the fifth inning to win 6-0.
By the Numbers: The Chargers had four hits and one walk… Hamilton, Sheyenne King, Steiner, and Chloe King each had a hit… the Lions had eight hits for six runs and six RBI's… Shreck went 2-3 for the Lions with three RBI's.
Game Two, 6-3 Loss
How It Happened: A single from Adalyn Steiner in the first inning scored Phoebe Clemens to earn the Chargers their first run of the day. The Lions took the lead in the 2nd inning 2-1 and went on to score three more runs through the 5th inning. Alyssa Paulson sent a double down the left field line to score Chloe King and Hannah Lieb to bring the deficit to within two runs. The Lions scored one more run in the 6th inning to win 6-3.
By the Numbers: The Chargers had nine hits for three runs and three RBI's… Paulson and Lieb went 2-3 for the game with Paulson racking up two RBI's… the Lions had six hits for six runs and six RBI's… several Lions had a hit for the game.
Information to Know: The Chargers currently sit in sixth place in the United East at 3-11 in conference play.
