Indiana University of Pennsylvania announces Tooley earns NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week accolades

INDIANA, Pa. – IUP sophomore Jimmy Tooley continues to earn recognition for his outstanding pitching performance over the weekend, picking up NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week, announced Tuesday.
 
Tooley, who earned PSAC West Pitcher of the Week accolades on Monday, dealt a shutout over 5.2 innings against Clarion on March 26. The Horsham, Pa. native racked up 10 strikeouts and took a no hitter into the sixth inning against the Golden Eagles.
 
The excellent pitching outing helped IUP to its third consecutive win in a divisional series against Clarion. Tooley's outing marked his first victory on the mound this season.
