Husson University announces Women’s track & field picked as NAC prechampionship coaches’ poll favorite

WATERVILLE, Maine — The North Atlantic Conference announced its women's track & field prechampionship coaches' poll on Thursday and Husson University was picked as the favorite. 

 
The Eagles earned six of a possible eight first-place votes for 60 points, edging out SUNY Delhi who was picked second with 50 points and one of the remaining first-place tallies.
 
Thomas College finished third in the poll with 43 points, followed by the University of Maine-Farmington with 36 points. 
 
SUNY Cobleskill who earned the remaining first-place vote finished fifth in the poll with 35 points followed by Northern Vermont University-Johnson (23), the University of Maine-Presque Isle (21) and Lesley University with 20 points.
