Howard University announces Jackson Leads Women's Golf at the Tulane Classic

NEW ORLEANS (February 14, 2023) – Howard University women's golf team finished tied for 17th at the Tulane Classic presented by Chad Brownstein.
On the final day, HU shot 40-over par (328). During the three days, Howard posted a 955 (+91).
Sophomore Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) led the way with a top 20 finish. The Texas native shot 4-over (76) in the third round and 229 (+13) during the three-day event.
No. 47 Purdue won the event, recording 897 (+33).
Tulane's Carla Bernat won the individual medal by three strokes over the Boilermakers' Ashley Kozlowski.
The next tournament is the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C. (Feb. 27-March 1), hosted by the University of South Carolina.
