Houston Christian University announces T&F: Rabius Punches Ticket to NCAA Championships

Senior Jessica Rabius runs a school record time of 2:04.16

Jessica Rabius kept her brilliant 2023 season going on Saturday at Hornet Stadium thanks to a third-place finish in her heat of the 800 meter quarterfinals, advancing to the semifinals in Austin at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Running in the first heat, Rabius ran a school record time of 2:04.16 to take third in the heat ahead of Oregon's Ella Nelson by less than a tenth of a second. Overall, her time placed her sixth out of the 24 runners in the quarterfinals.
 
The 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships run from June 7 through 10 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. The women's 800m semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, June 8, at 9:14 p.m.
