"We were very happy with how the regionals crew performed the last couple of days. The obvious highlights were Caleb Kasper breaking a 23 year-old school record, and Rachel Domaracki making the podium, and a huge PR, in the men's and women's 10k, respectively," said Head Coach Patrick Hager. "Both high jumpers made attempts at the personal best height, and that's exactly what you want. I think it was hard for everyone to walk away from the meet because of how tight this crew is. That's what I'm most proud of."
The team had 27 top-10 all-time performances this outdoor season, and one school record. "We weren't thrilled with the 5th place finishes at Empire 8, but put up very good point totals that bested 2022 results," added Hager. "I think it's maybe the most women's all-conference selections we've had since we've been in the Empire 8."
The All-E8 selections will be announced after the NCAA National Championship meet.
