Hope College announces Ana Tucker Clocks Nation's Fastest and School-Record 10K at Raleigh Relays

Hope College All-America runner Ana Tucker cruised to a nation-leading and school-record time in the 10,000 meters on Thursday night at the Raleigh Relays.
The senior from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) clocked a time of 34 minutes, 24.97 seconds to finish second in a 56-runner field that primarily featured NCAA Division I runners.
Tucker placed behind only Carolien Millenaar of Wake Forest University, who won in 34:20.19.
The Raleigh Relays were hosted by North Carolina State University.
Tucker's run is the fastest among all NCAA Division III women's runners by 2 minutes, 49.03 seconds.
Tucker surpassed her previous school record of 35:19.33, which she ran last season.
