Hood College announces Zechmen career day leads women’s track and field at the Marlin Invitational

Tay Zechman (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) notched career bests in the weight throw and the shot put to lead the Hood College women's track and field team at the Marlin Invitational at Virginia Wesleyan University.

Career Best   

• Zechman placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 12.92 meters (42-4), which bested her previous career best of 12.84 meters (42-1). The senior also threw a career best in the shot put with a mark of 9.87 meters (32-4) to finish in seventh overall. She added over 0.2 meters and nearly a foot to her previous career best.
