Hood College announces Women’s track and field takes part in the Mini-Dip Invitational

The Hood College women's track and field team traveled to Franklin and Marshall College to take part in the Mini-Dip Invitational. 


Highlights 

  • The Blazers had four women entered in the 600-meter run. Ada Heller (Germantown, Md./Northwest) crossed the line first for Hood, with a time of 1:58.97, good for 15th overall. Megan Pezenosky (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) finished next with a time of 1:59.59, Megan Mulholland (Beachwood, N.J./Toms River South) and Marin Bartman (Middletown, Md./Middletown) finished with times of 2:03.31 and 2:10.39. 
  • Ilyana Taylor-Sparks was 10th in the long jump with a mark of 4.45 meters (14-7 1/4).
  • In the high jump, Chloe McQuillen (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) was sixth, clearing 1.40 (4-7).

Up Next

The Blazers will split the squad on Feb. 4. Hood will send its multi-event athletes to Ursinus at the Frank Colden Invitational and the rest of the Blazers will be in action at the Liberty Open.
