Hood College announces Castillo leads women’s track and field at Shippensburg

The Hood College women's track team competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic, hosted by Shippensburg University. 

Highlights

• Gloria Castillo (Puerto Cortes, Honduras/Meade (Md.)) jumped a career best in the long jump with a mark of 4.54 meters (14-10 3/4) to finish 26th. The mark is the fifth best in school history. Castillo also ran a career best in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.56 seconds to place 28th out of 58 participants.
