Hood College announces 4x100 scores at the All-Atlantic Region Conference Championships

The 4x100-meter relay team paced the Blazers men's track and field team at the All-Atlantic Region Conference Championships hosted by Susquehanna University. 

Scoring Points

• The relay team of Tofunmi Okuseinde (Baltimore, Md./Parkville), Evan Ellington (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti), Rell Asamoah (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and Jamel Mins (Columbia, Md./Atholton) placed sixth with a time of 42.36 seconds, to give the Blazers three points. 

On the Track

• All four competed in the 100-meter dash. Ellington finished with a time of 11.05 seconds, placing 20th out of 48 participants. Mins placed 22nd with a time of 11.07. Okuseinde's 11.15 was 26th and Asamoah turned in an 11.25 to take 33rd.
• Chris Sappe (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) ran a 1:57.91 for 27th in the 800.

In the Field

• Dustin Miller (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) threw the discus 35.65 (116-11) to end up in 27th.

Team Scores

• The Blazers placed 41st with three points.
• Rowan won the meet with 97 points.
