Holy Family University announces Nishorn Pierre Earns All-America Honors in High Jump at NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships

Less than 10 months after earning All-America honors in the high jump at the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, HFU's Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) did so at the 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. 
 
Competing against 16 other entries, the sophomore placed in the top-half of the field after clearing his first attempt at 2.04m and his second attempt at 2.09m.
 
After failing to clear his first two attempts at 2.12m, Pierre came through in the clutch to seal what would eventually secure him All-America status as he tied for eighth. 
 
Six student-athletes would go on to clear 2.15m in the next progression, before three jumped over 2.18m to earn their places on the podium.
