Holy Family University announces 21 Tigers Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors for 2022-23 Season

21 members of the HFU track & field program have received a total of 38 All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2022-23 season.
The top five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.
Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) led the way with six All-Region accolades via the high jump, long jump and triple jump in both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Shania Le Maitre (Champs Fleurs, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name Convent) garnered five, including in the 800 meters and 4x400 relay in both the indoor and outdoor season, in addition to the indoor distance medley relay.
Kenisha Greenwood (Jamaica) earned four, highlighted by three – 400 meter hurdles, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay – for the outdoor season.
Ariel Salkey (Queens, N.Y./Francis Lewis) received three, two of which were the 4x400 relay in both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Other Tigers to garner recognition in both the indoor and outdoor season included Javon Bowen (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College) and Nyoki Jones (Jersey City, N.J./Snyder), while Kouto Anyika (Philadelphia, Pa./Pennwood) received distinction twice in the outdoor season, for the 400 meters and the 4x400 relay.
