HAMBURG, N.Y. - Academic Honors continue to headline the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) spotlight on day four of the NCAA Division III Week.  939 student-athletes in the eight-member AMCC league achieved a 3.2 (or higher) cumulative grade point average (GPA) through the 2022 fall academic semester and have now earned the distinction of being named to the Academic All-Conference Team.  Penn State Behrend won the 2023 AMCC Institutional Peak Performer Award as the member with the highest percentage of student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference Team. The Lions placed 65.35 percent of their student-athletes on the All-Academic Team and as a department, captured six Team Peak Performers Awards in women's basketball, men's basketball, wrestling, women's tennis, women's soccer, and women's swimming and diving.  Sixty-six percent (620) of the league's All-Conference members were also tabbed as Individual Peak Performers having maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.  Hilbert is pleased to announce that 97 student-athletes earned a spot on the AMCC Academic All-Conference team and 65 of those Hawks attained a 3.5 or higher.
