Hilbert Hawks announces 2023 Softball Schedule Released

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Athletics is pleased to announce the 2023 Softball Game Schedule.  

The Hawks Softball team opens its season in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when the royal and white get their feet wet with outdoor games for the first time.  Hilbert will play two games per day over a six-day period which gives the Hawks 10 games under their belt by the time they travel back north on March 11th. 

Head coach Jay Hall has added six non-conference games in New York against Elmira College, Geneva College, Medaille University, Houghton University, Keuka College, and Allegheny College as well as their seven AMCC opponents which gives them a a 36-game schedule. 

Hilbert will tackle the 14-game Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference portion of their spring schedule the last full month of the season, and they will host seven home games on the FSSJ Complex beginning April 1st.  

The Hawks return 11 veterans and welcome another dozen rookies to the team as they begin their quest for a post-season appearance when AMCC play-offs begin May 12th.  

Professor Carraugh Reilly Nowak returns as the team's Faculty Team Advisor and will continue to assist the coaching staff and student-athletes with academic matters and concerns.
