Atlanta, Ga. - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) announced its 2023 All-Conference selections on Monday, with four Warriors earning All-SAA honors:
Grace Bryant
Gabby Naples
Betty Wolfe
Paizley Vaught
Bryant ends her career as a two-time All-SAA selection, having been named to the All-SAA First Team in 2022. The fifth-year senior started 32 games in 2023, hitting .333 with a 1.004 OPS. Bryant led the Warriors in several major statistical categories, including RBIs (37) and slugging (.606), and had a career day versus Rhodes towards the end of the regular season, knocking in five runs with two home runs. She also made two appearances in the circle and tossed a career-best 6.0 IP versus Arkansas Baptist with seven strikeouts.
Naples started 14 games for the Warriors in her final campaign and made the most of them, notching 16 hits in 38 at-bats to bat .421 on the year with a .474 slugging percentage. She knocked in and scored five runs, two of each of those coming on a career day versus Dallas, and had a couple extra-base hits.
Wolfe earned All-SAA honors for the first time after a super sophomore season. She started 20 games and hit .299 for the year with 20 runs and 21 runs scored. Wolfe's impact in the outfield was immense, with baserunners not willing to test her arm on many occasions.
