WESTERVILLE, Ohio – On Thursday, the Ohio Athletic Conference doled out All-OAC Softball accolades.  Three Heidelberg University softball players -- Jessica Voitko, Emma Dean and Gabbie Stallbaum -- earned spots on the list.

Voitko, a senior pitcher from Wadsworth, picked up second team accolades. Dean, a junior shortstop, and Stallbaum, a sophomore right fielder, were honorable mentions.

On the season, Voitko threw 114.2 innings, struck out 73, and posted a team-best ERA of 2.14.  Her season ERA is the best full-season ERA since 1998.

Although Dean suffered a season-ending injury during conference play, she finished the season with a whopping .506 batting average. She totaled 42 hits during her shortened season and 15 of those were doubles – placing her third in the HU single season record book.

Dean, a Pickerington native, was an All-OAC first team selection in 2021 and an honorable mention in 2022. She is the fifth player in program history to earn three All-OAC honors and is the first since Renee Lovett picked up her third in 2018.

Rounding out the list for Heidelberg Stallbaum, who led the team in home runs with five. The Paulding native finished the year batting .321, while also batting in 21 runs. With 17 walks on the season, she has led The Berg in free passes for the second straight year.

Heidelberg finished the season with a 17-22 record and ended with a sweep of rival Ohio Northern.
