Grand View University announces Vikings Earn 2-All Conference Honors

Kansas City, MO - The Heart of America Athletic Conference released their All-Conference honors for men's basketball today, February 23. The Vikings earned 2 Honorable Mentions with Brady Sartorius (SR/Mount Pleasant, Iowa) and Jacob Koontz (SO/Missouri City, Texas). 

BRADY SARTORIUS | HONORABLE MENTION  

Floor general and veteran guard Brady Sartorius earned honorable mention through his reliability and consistency on the floor. Sartorius averaged 10 ppg on 44.2%, and 4 assists a game. A lot of what Brady did for the Vikings doesn't always show on the box score, but he made his teammates around him better and always set them up for success whilst scoring when needed.

JACOB KOONTZ | HONORABLE MENTION  

Jacob Koontz, one of the most overlooked big guys in the Heart of America Athletic Conference was the rock this past season for the Vikings. Koonts averaged 12 ppg on 56% and 6.5 rebounds. Not only could Koontz score the ball at will around the rim, but he also had great court vision at his height averaging 2 assists per game. Koontz only a sophomore has no ceiling for his years of development.
