Gracie Derrick, former Chapin High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Chapin High School player and current Lander Bearcats outfielder, Gracie Derrick, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number five seed against the fourth seeded Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
