Gianna Lombardi, former West Ranch High School softball player, will compete on the diamond for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former West Ranch High School player and current Cal State San Marcos Cougars utility player and catcher, Gianna Lombardi, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded Cal State East Bay Pioneers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
