Former San Leandro High School standout Jimmy Garcia’s collegiate team to play for NCAA D2 Baseball Championship starting Thursday, May 16

Former San Leandro High School player and current Cal State Monterey Bay Otters outfielder and catcher, Jimmy Garcia, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the sixth seeded San Francisco State Gators.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
