Former Bentonville High School standout Trista Peterson’s collegiate team to play for NCAA D2 Softball Championship starting Thursday, May 9

Former Bentonville High School player and current Pittsburg State Gorillas infielder, Trista Peterson, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
