Dragons storm back to beat Central State

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Lane College women's basketball team hosted division rival Central State on Monday night at J.F. Lane Gymnasium.

In a game that saw 13 lead changes and 14 ties, the Dragons overcame a halftime deficit by scoring a season-high 52 points in the second half.

Senior Brailyn Tate led the way with 20 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 7-of-9 from the field over the final two quarters.

Tamia Curry recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Kayla Simmons gave the Dragons their third double-double for the game with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Carnessia Griggs added 14 points for Lane.

The Dragons will be back at home on Saturday, February 4th, when they host Tuskegee at 2:00 PM.
