Dartmouth College announces Big Green Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving programs were included on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's list of Scholar All-America Teams, which was announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.
 
The award, which is presented twice throughout the year, is presented to teams across the country that have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The men's team, one of 121 honorees, posted a 3.36 grade point average (GPA). The women's team, one of 188 to make the list, qualified with a 3.64 GPA. The Ivy League was one of 16 Division I conferences to land all member programs on the Scholar All-America list.
 
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
 
Dartmouth men's swimming and diving is set to host Columbia on Saturday, Feb. 4 for an Ivy League dual meet. The women's team prepares for the Ivy League Championships, which begin Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Princeton. The men's championship meet begins Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Brown.
