College of the Holy Cross announces Mazzocca Named Second-team All-patriot League

Junior Mike Mazzocca has been named Men's Outdoor Track & Field Second-Team All-Patriot League, as announced by the league office.  
 
The Walpole, Massachusetts native claimed a silver medal at the Patriot League Championship on Saturday. Mazzocca finished the 110m hurdles with a final time of 14.37, securing a silver medal. Additionally, he helped the 4x100 relay team to a sixth-place finish.  

Mazzocca has been a top performer for the Crusaders throughout the season. Most recently, he set the 110m hurdles program record (14.19) at the UConn Northeast Challenge in April. The previous record was set by Brandon Thornhill in May 2019.
 
Mazzocca, along with other qualified Crusaders, will compete at the New England Championship, hosted by Northeastern University on May 12 and 13.
