College of the Holy Cross announces Feuerbach Shatters School Record at Patriot League Championship

Senior Eve Feuerbach shattered the school record in the 10k to open up the Patriot League Championship for the Holy Cross women's track and field team.The Crusaders sit in seventh place with 10 points after the first day of the championship on Friday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:
- Feuerbach earned fourth in the 10k run with a program record time of 35:23.84. The previous record was set by Eileen O'Rourke '86 in March 1984.
- Two Crusaders qualified for finals in the 100m hurdles. Sophomore Ella Grey finished third (14.16) and freshman Celia Kulis earned fifth (14.49).
- Junior Kiley Ronan ran a personal best time of 58.22 in the 400m.
- Freshman Alex Lusby set a personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:13.63.
- Sophomore Haley Murphy placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a final-qualifying time of 1:03.82.
- The 4x800 team with Lusby, senior Carly Robinson, freshman Fiona Doherty and sophomore Abby Hughes earned sixth with a season-best 9:10.72.
- Sophomore Jane Feeney and Kulis completed the first day of the heptathlon. Feeney sits in second place with 2,908 points. She claimed a personal best in the 200m with a time of 26.99, placing sixth and tied her personal record in the high jump (1.61), earning second. Feeney, also, earned seventh in the open long jump (5.56m).
- Kulis stands in fourth with 2,853 points after four events. She set two personal bests – shot put (10.17m) and 200m (26.14), placing fourth in both.
