College of the Holy Cross announces Feuerbach Named to Academic All-patriot League Team

Senior Eve Feuerbach of the Holy Cross women's track and field team has been named to the Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced by the league office Wednesday.

Feuerbach is graduating in May with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She posted a 3.75 cumulative GPA.
 
Most recently, Feuerbach finished sixth in the 3,000 meter and 5,000 meter events at the Patriot League Indoor Championship. She finished the 3K with a time of 9:46.77, only one second behind her personal best. In the 5k, she crossed the finish line at 17:15.95, one second behind her PR. Feuerbach later helped her distance medley relay set a school record at the ECAC Championship. She, also, set the 3k program record earlier this season.

Feuerbach has received multiple Patriot League recognitions during her time on the Hill, as this is her third recognition of her senior season. She was named to the Cross Country Academic All-Patriot League team and First-Team All-Patriot League this past fall.

The Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and Academic All-Patriot League team honor student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. The awards are nominated and voted on by the Patriot League track and field sports information directors. To be eligible for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. 

Feuerbach and the Holy Cross women's track and field team will begin the outdoor season at the end of the month.
