College of the Holy Cross announces Annie Lineberger Named Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week

Senior Annie Lineberger of the Holy Cross women's track and field team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Jan. 30 -Feb. 5.

Lineberger competed at the New England Indoor Championship at the New Balance Track in Boston, Mass. on Thursday. She tied the pole vault school record with a mark of 3.95m, winning the event. The previous record was set by Christa Jay Moore '21 in Feb. 2018.
 
Lineberger's performance in the pole vault has moved her into second place in Patriot League standings. She helped women's track and field team to its highest finish in program history at the New England Championship. Holy Cross finished second of 24 schools, tallying 102 points.

The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 11 when they travel to Kingston, R.I for the Rhode Island Coaches Invitational.
