Buffalo State University announces Toni Naccarella Qualifies for Ncaa Swimming and Diving Championships

BUFFALO, N.Y. - On Wednesday morning, the NCAA announced the 2023 Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championship selections. Graduate student swimmer Toni Naccarella was selected for this year's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Naccarella qualified for two events, the 50 and 100 freestyle, where she ranks second in both events in UB's all-time top-10 times. At the 2023 MAC Championships, Naccarella swam times of 22.15-seconds in the 50 freestyle and 48.28-seconds in the 100 freestyle.
This is Naccarella's second time qualifying, as she also competed at the 2021 NCAA Championships in the same two events.
This year's NCAA Championships are set to begin on Wednesday, March 15 and run through Saturday, March 18. The championships will be held in Knoxville, Tenn. at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. The 50 freestyle will take place on Thursday, March 16 with the 100 freestyle to occur on Saturday, March 18.
