Buffalo State University announces Franz, Kwak, and Naccarella Wrap Up Day One of Competition at Ncaa Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University at Buffalo divers Victoria Franz and Marialis Kwak and swimmer Toni Naccarella began competition at the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday morning.
Franz and Kwak both competed in the 1-meter dive. Franz finished the event with a score of 253.15, good for 26th place overall out of 50 NCAA Championship divers. Kwak recorded a score of 244.35, finishing 31st.
Naccarella competed in the 50 freestyle on Thursday, finishing tied for 35th out of 61 competitors with a time of 22.39-seconds.

NEXT UP
Franz and Kwak will compete in the 3-meter dive beginning on Friday morning, with Naccarella competing in the 100 freestyle on Saturday.
