Buffalo State University announces Bulls Host Bowling Green on Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (2-3, 2-2 MAC) will host MAC rival Bowling Green (4-3, 1-2 MAC) on Saturday. The team will honor 12 seniors, Patricia Arceri, Ellie Duley, Clarice FisherVictoria FranzLena Li, Maddy McDonough, Michaela Morgus, Toni Naccarella, Katie Pollock, Maddy Rogan, Kaley Skarren, and Allie Stockwell, prior to the meet that will begin at 12 p.m.

 SERIES HISTORY AT A GLANCE

  • UB leads the all-time series, 15-3, against Bowling Green.
  • The Bulls defeated the Falcons, 187-111, in the 2020-21 season.
  • Head Coach Andy Bashor is 9-1 against Bowling Green during his tenure at Buffalo.

LAST TIME OUT

The Bulls defeated Toledo, 187-88, and fell to Ohio, 150-111, in a tri-meet on Friday, Jan. 20. UB defeated Eastern Michigan, 165.5-92.5, on Saturday, Jan. 21. Toni Naccarella won four individual events across the weekend: the 50 and 100 freestyle on Friday and the 200 and 100 freestyle on Saturday. Naccarella broke a Toledo pool record in the 100 freestyle, finishing in 50.11-seconds. She was part of four winning relay teams throughout the two meets. Mia Naccarella also won four individual events this past weekend, finishing first in the 100 and 200 backstroke on both Friday and Saturday.
