Benedictine University announces Redhawks Set Cal Pac Record With 27-game Win Streak

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LANCATSER, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team had a bittersweet ending to their historic win streak. The win streak that lasted 27 games is now a California Pacific Conference record that began back on February 16 against Mount Mercy University.
 
The Redhawks took the series from the Pioneers despite dropping the second game. BenU was led by Tyler Butterfield and Orlando Lorduy on the offense. Butterfield went 2-for-4 on the day with one run and one homerun. Orlando Lorduy went 3-for-7 with four runs and one double. Jack Fitzgerald also went 3-for-7 with one RBI and two walks.
