Benedictine University announces Redhawks Fall to the Warriors on the Road

IRVINE, Calif. – The Benedictine University Mesa baseball team fell to the Warriors in their final game of the regular season. The Redhawks finish their regular season 40-10 overall and 21-3 in Cal Pac play.
 
The Redhawks held the lead through seven innings but a big inning from the Warriors in the eight proved to be the turning point. The Redhawks would tie the game at 7-7 but the Warriors would come away with the win.
 
Travis Reaves went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Kevin Fitzgerald went 2-for-5 with one run batted in against the Warriors. Orlando Lorduy also went 2-for-5 and added one RBI and one run scored. Ryan Curran went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
 
UP NEXT
 
The Redhawks will continue their season at the Cal Pac Championship tournament hosted by Benedictine at Hohokam Stadium. The tournament takes place from May 3-5 and will begin at 9 a.m. on the 3rd.
