Ayanna Patterson, former Homestead High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Saturday, March 23 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Saturday, March 23, former Homestead High School standout Ayanna Patterson’s current collegiate team the UConn Huskies won 86-64 against the Jackson State Lady Tigers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Storrs, Connecticut, this was the first game against the Jackson State Lady Tigers during the championship.

The UConn Huskies’ next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in Storrs, Connecticut against Syracuse Orange.
