Ashlyn Watkins, former Cardinal Newman School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, March 29 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Friday, March 29, former Cardinal Newman School standout Ashlyn Watkins’ current collegiate team the South Carolina Gamecocks won 79-75 against the Indiana Hoosiers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Albany, New York, this was the first game against the Indiana Hoosiers during the championship.

The South Carolina Gamecocks’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 31 at 1 p.m. in Albany, New York against Oregon State Beavers.
