Ashley Platek, former Lincoln Way Central High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Lincoln Way Central High School player and current Grand Valley State Lakers pitcher, Ashley Platek, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Ohio Dominican Panthers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
