Amani Hansberry, former Mount Saint Joseph High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, March 21 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 21, former Mount Saint Joseph High School standout Amani Hansberry’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini won 85-69 against the Morehead State Eagles in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Omaha, Nebraska, this was the first game against the Morehead State Eagles during the championship.

The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 7:40 p.m. in Omaha, Nebraska against Duquesne Dukes.
