Albany State University announces Golden Rams Defeated by Warhawks

The Albany State Golden Rams were defeated by the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks (13-3) at the AUM Baseball Complex on Wednesday evening in Montgomery, Alabama.  With the loss, the Golden Rams fell to (23-8) overall while the Warhawks improved to (17-22) overall.

After falling behind (9-0), the Golden Rams responded by scoring 2 runs in the top of the 3rd inning. Lavoisier Fisher scored on a throwing error and Jonathan Logsdon scored on a Luke Addison ground out to the short stop.

The Golden Rams scored again in the top of the 6th inning on a sacrifice fly by Chase Karn.

The Golden Rams finished the game with 3 runs and 8 hits. Hill Corley led the Golden Rams with 2 hits.

Calvin Baker fell to (1-3) on the season for the Golden Rams.
