Adrian College announces Women's Golf Battles Windy Conditions in Competitive Tournament in Virginia

GLEN ALLEN, Va. – The Adrian College women's golf team headed back to Virginia to an invitational tournament with some of the top teams in Division III. The Bulldogs finished tied for ninth out of the 14 teams with a two-day total of 643. The Bulldogs battled through tough weather conditions during the two days.
Olivia Ohmer finished tied for 18th for the tournament after shooting a 77 on Monday and a 79 on Tuesday. Ohmer finished with a two-day total of 156 to finish +12. Lauren Reed tied for 35th in the field with an 81 on day one and a 79 on day two. She finished +16 during the two days for a two-day total of 160.
Sara Bevington shot +18 for the tournament with a 78 to open the tournament. She shot an 84 on day two to a two-day total of 162 to finish +18. Taylor Ross finished the tournament +21 with an 84 on day one and an 81 on day two for a 165. Riley Kleck rounded out the starting five finishing +37. She totaled an 87 on day one and a 94 on day two.
Adrian entered the tournament ranked 37th in the Golf Stat rankings. Every team that finished ahead of the Bulldogs ranked in the top-25.
The Bulldogs will travel to Kalamazoo College on Monday, April 10 for the Steven Tyler Memorial for the team's final tournament before the MIAA Automatic Qualifiers.
