Abilene Christian University announces Second Round Interrupted in Mississippi

WEST POINT, Mississippi – Abilene Christian finished one round and had started a second before play at the Mossy Oak Collegiate was suspended in the second round on Monday.
 
Thomas Buisson leads the Wildcats at two-over-par with Logan Diomede at three over, Gregoire Hoyeau at plus-four, Charlie Jackson at six over and Zane Heusel at 13 over.
 
Round 2 was suspended at 7:15 p.m. due to darkness after course conditions forced a two-hour delay of the first round. Play will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and round three will be played immediately following.
 
ACU shot 299 in the first round with Buisson, Diomede and Hoyeau all coming in at 74 while Jackson shot 77 and Heusel had an 81.
 
The Wildcats have logged 15 birdies so far, led by Hoyeau with five. Jackson and Buisson have four each and Diomede has two.
