Methodist University announces Topoly Performs Well at Carolina Challenge

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.  On Saturday, Drew Topoly was the only member of Methodist Indoor Track & Field team that traveled to the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge, which was held on the campus of the University of North Carolina.

Location: University of North Carolina; Chapel Hill, North Carolina

PERFORMANCE

• As the only non-Division I athlete, Topoly competed in the mile race. He finished in 15th place with a time of four minutes and 24.72 seconds.
• Topoly also ran his first-ever 1,000 meter event and his time of 2:35.91was good for seventh overall.

The rest of the Indoor team along with Topoly will participate in the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Salem College next weekend.
