Merrimack College announces Men's Track and Field Places Fifth in Black and Gold Invitational

Smithfield R.I.— The Merrimack Women's Track and Field team finished sixth in the Black and Gold Invitational this past weekend, highlighted by Drew Gardner's first place finish and new meet record in the men's pole vault final.
- Albert Ferreras finished sixth in the Men's 10000-meter with a time of 31:48.80.
For the Men's 3000M Steeple, Neil Letellier finished third with a time of 9:57.60, DJ Walsh finished sixth with a time of 10:26.83, and Cole Gamache finished seventh with a time of 10:35.29.
For the Men's 4 x 100M Relay, Merrimack team B consisting of Franco Recto, Davonte McKoy, Braedon Manti, and Carson Mighty finished eighth with a time of 43.80. Merrimack team A consisting of Landon Crowley, Jaeden Smith, Brian Smith, and Colin Rahaman finished ninth with a time of 43.82.
For the Men's 110M Hurdles John Elie finished third with a time of 15.03.
- In the Men's 400 Meters Cory Couture finished first with a time of 48.99 and Jaeden Smith finished seventh with a time of 51.29.
- In the Men's 400M Hurdles Blake Hickey finished seventh with a time of 59.05.
In the Men's 200 Meters Cory Couture finished second with a time of 21.50.
In the Men's 4 X 400M Relay, Merrimack team A consisting of Jaeden Smith, Blake Hickey, Jadis Yarbrough, and Colin Rahaman finished fifth with a time of 3:26.24.
For Men's Triple Jump Brady Trask finished fourth with a time of 12.38m.
For Men's Pole Vault Drew Gardner finished with a mark of 4.75m, Max Bothwell finished third with a mark of 4.30m.
