Merrimack College announces Men's Track and Field Competes Well at Stonehill Invitational

Easton, MA-- The Merrimack Men's Track and Field team had a successful meet in their final outing before they host the NEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships next weekend.
For the Men's Discus Throw, Owen LaRoss finished 3rd with a mark of 36.88m and Jude Ibarra finished 5th with a mark of 34.01m.
For the Men's Pole Vault 4 Warriors finished in the top 5, Drew Gardner had a mark of 4.55m, Max Bothwell had a mark of 4.40m, Maxim Lussier had a mark of 4.10m, and Tucker Carroll had a mark of 4.95m.
For Men's Shot Put, Owen LaRoss finished 7th with a mark of 12.16 and Claudel Chevalier finished 8th with a mark of 12.13m.
For Men's High Jump, Holden Speed finished 2nd with a mark of 1.85m and Zachary Hubbard finished 6th with a mark of 1.70m.
For Men's Javelin Throw, Stephen Gallagher finished 1st with a mark of 57.28m.
For Men's Hammer Throw, Grant Eastin finished 1st with a mark of 51.48m, Claudel Chevalier finished 3rd with a time of 49.33m, Jude Ibarra finished 6th with a time of 41.02m.
For the Men's 400 Relay both Merrimack teams finished in the top 3, Merrimack team A finished first and team B finished 3rd.
For Men's 110 Hurdles, John Elie finished 2nd with a time of 14.98 and Jackson Bomba finished 5th with a time of 16.30.
For Men's 1500 Run Merrimack finished with all of the top 3 spots, Ryan Gamelin finished 1st with a time of 3:58.32, Ryan Dyer finished 2nd with a time of 3:58.50,
Michael Alleva finished 3rd with a time of 3:58.78.
For the Men's 400 Run, Colin Rahaman finished 2nd with a time of 50.80, Blake Hickey finished 3rd with a time of 51.14, Jadis Yarbrough finished 5th with a time of 51.72.
For the Men's 800 Run, Antonio Craverio finished 1st with a time of 1:54.87, Billy Coakley finished 5th with a time of 1:56.58, Neil Letellier finished 7th with a time of 1:57.30.
For the Men's 200 Dash, Brian Smith finished 7th with a time of 22.96.
For the Men's 1600 Relay, Merrimack team A finished first with a time of 3:23.80.
