APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University baseball star Parker Knoll has been named to the All-Region 9 team by D3baseball.com.
Knoll (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) was a first-team selection after a stellar season.
The sophomore center fielder hit a career-best .427 on the season with 10 doubles, one triple and 10 home runs. Knoll became just the second player in school history to hit double digits in homers.
Batting in the lead-off spot in Lawrence's lineup, Knoll scored 49 runs and ranked 32nd in all of NCAA Division III at 1.36 runs per game. He also drove in 34 runs while compiling a .707 slugging percentage and 1.201 OPS.
This is Knoll's second all-region selection of his career. He was a third-team pick by the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2022.
A first-team All-Midwest Conference selection for the second consecutive season, Knoll notched 20 mult-hit games on the season. He had one five-hit game, three more four-hit games and an additional eight three-hit games. Knoll put together a 17-game hit streak during the season, and that is the second-longest streak in school history dating back to 2000.
Knoll was on fire over his final 25 games as he hit .477 during that stretch. During that time, he was honored as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division III Hitter of the Week and as the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.
Knoll also swiped a team-best 21 bases and compiled a .982 fielding percentage.
Knoll is the sixth Lawrence player in the last three seasons to earn all-region honors.
