Kalif Raymond ’16 Earns All-Pro Honors
Kalif Raymond '16, a Holy Cross football alumnus and current NFL player for the Detroit Lions, has earned All-Pro second team honors from the Associated Press as a punt returner.
Raymond finished second in the NFL this season with a 13.2-yard average on punt returns. He scored a 47-yard touchdown in a Week 15 win over the New York Jets – the first return touchdown of his career. Raymond also set a career high this season with 616 receiving yards.
During his tenure with the Crusaders, Raymond caught 155 passes for 1,683 yards and 14 scores, while recording 4,059 all-purpose yards with 18 total touchdowns. He was a first team All-Patriot League honors in 2015 as both a wide receiver and a return specialist, after previously being named to the first team as a return specialist in 2012.
Raymond was additionally a standout student-athlete for the Holy Cross track and field team; he was a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that set a school record with a time of 42.16 seconds in 2016.
