Illinois College announces Logan Schweigert Named Second Team All-Conference

GRINNELL, Iowa- The Midwest Conference has announced its special award recipients and All-Conference honorees for the 2023 baseball season. Illinois College's Logan Schweigert has been named Second Team All-Conference for his success this year.

Schweigert has been the star catcher for the Blueboys during the 2023 campaign. He ranks second on the team and 14th in the conference with a batting average of .341. He also leads the team and ranks eighth in the conference with a .612 slugging percentage. Schweigert has put together an incredible season totaling 12 doubles and three home runs. He has appeared in 34 games and started in 31 of the Blueboy's 40 contests this season.

The Blueboys end the 2023 season with a record of 15-25 overall and 11-13 in the MWC.
