Husson University announces Men’s golf adds Cook to 2023-24 recruiting class

BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University men's golf team announced its third recruit of its 2023-24 recruiting class. Charlotte, Maine native, Jace Cook has committed to attend Husson in the Fall of 2023. 
 
Cook comes to Husson following a successful high school career at Calais High School, where he was named DAC player of the year in 2022 and 2023 as well as earning Penobscot Valley Conference First Team honors in 2021 and 2022. 
 
Additionally, Cook was the St. Croix Junior Club Champion in 2021 and 2022. 

Cook joins Bradley Chisholm and Ty Dickson as the first three recruits to join a golf program that has produced nine-straight conference players of the year and won six out of the last eight conference titles and made seven NCAA tournament appearances under head coach Mike Dugas.
